G3/4 1 Steam Loco "Rhatia" (Metal Collection)
Back in 1889 the initial rolling stock of the Landquart-Davos railway comprised of five 2-6-0 Mogul tank engines. Among them was G3/4 No.1 named "Rhätia". Since it was returned from the Blonay-Chamby railway museum in 1988, No.1 has been part of the RhB fleet of operational steam engines along with the two 2-8-0 Consolidation tender locomotives G4/5 No.107 and 108.
Today No.1 occasionally hauls special trains on the meter gauge network of the Rhaetian Railway that are usually composed of vintage two-axle coaches.
The handcrafted model of the tank engine G3/4 No.1 in its contemporary appearance is made of metal. As with the original, many details differ from the previously released G3/4 No.8 "Thusis". Its technical features include a drive with five-pole motor fitted with flywheel, a digital interface and headlights. (Not convertible to HOe.)
