|
It can be expected that during 2010 BEMO will announce additional models. Remember that |
some items may take up to 3yrs to appear, especially, but not exclusively, the 'metal collection' |
items, and could well have mandatory pre-ordering closing date - a 'one-off-production-run' offer. |
It is a fact that, at that date, the production run is fixed and that is how many will be |
manufactured, and only once. |
|
The items shown on these pages are New Items and will (hopefully) appear between |
March 2010 and April 2011. Items being shown here may not yet have been released or be |
available from our stocks and depending on the date you refer to this information the models |
may have been released and completely sold out. |
This is why we strongly recommend you contact us and use our Pre-order scheme to secure any |
items you are interested in purchasing. |

G3/4 11 “Heidi ”
order # 1295121
When the RhB network was extended in 1902 four additional G3/4 locomotives
Nos. 9~14 with additional coal storage were ordered from SLM. After the
decommissioning of most of the steam locos three were kept by the RhB for a
considerable time.
In addition to the Museum stored locomotive No. 1 "Rhaetia", engines 11 and
14 were stored in Landquart and Samedan depots. After appearing in the world
famous film "Heidi" in 1952 locomotive No. 11 was named "Heidi" by friends
of the railway. She ended her service with the RhB in 1977 and was sold for
nostalgic runs on the Bernese Oberland Bahn. In 1990 she was decommissioned
and left at the back of Zweilutschinen depot.
"Club 1889" purchased and restored "Heidi" and have operated her since 2005.
A hand-made metal model of the tank engine in black livery with changed details
from the previous G3/4 model.
5 pole motor with flywheel, and with slot for digital chip.
The amount of models manufactured will be the number ordered before 1.5.2010.
